In recent years, the Scarsdale Rec Department has moved fall soccer registration to June. If you wait until the fall to decide whether your child will play soccer or not, it could be too late. It is important to understand which soccer programs are available and what you should be registering your child for as soon as possible.

The Spring Youth Tennis League Program is currently being organized by the Scarsdale Recreation Department and area neighborhood athletic associations, including the Edgewood Athletic Association. Boys and girls tennis teams for grades 4 - 8 are now being formed.

The Village of Scarsdale will be holding in-person registration for Girls Softball for the Spring 2008 Season on Saturday, February 9th, from 10am-1pm, and Sunday, February 10th, from 12pm-3pm, at the Quaker Ridge Elementary School (125 Weaver Street).

Rec basketball will begin in mid-November, with practices for grades 4-8 scheduled to start shortly before Thanksgiving, and clinics for grades K-3 to start in December. Both games and clinic seasons will extend into March 2008. It is important that parents contact the appropriate grade coordinator if their child intends to participate.
